Capturing Opportunities While the focus of nature strategies is often risk (and impact) reduction, we encourage our customers to look for opportunities. At Natcap, we can deploy decision-useful data to identify sources of value to companies, and routes to capturing that value. These opportunities can range from identifying alternative sourcing routes, collaboration with external partners, or market leading disclosures to gain reputational rewards.

Target Setting A key part of a nature strategy is setting measurable targets. We understand the tension between setting rigorous, science-based, targets and ensuring that these targets are actionable. We work directly with sustainability teams to ensure that targets are supported by the best available scientific insight and that you are able to build the business case for delivering against them.

Transition Planning Targets need considered plans to execute against. Natcap will meet customers where they are to support their transition towards a more sustainable business model. Most commonly, this is identifying actions and key performance indicators to track progress against targets over time. While for those positioning to be market leaders, this means a costed transition plan with associated communications to company leadership and Board. And of course, these plans need to tie in with climate strategies that are already in place.
