See how it works...London, UK – 15 October 2024 – Natcap has appointed Dr. Peter Wrighton-Smith as a non-executive director. Peter’s experience scaling a science-based company from $0–$100m in revenues and proven commitment to purpose-led businesses seeking to solve global challenges will be vital in the next stage of Natcap’s growth.
Natcap helps organisations embed nature into their decision-making to future-proof against nature-related risks, capture nature-related business opportunities, and meet regulatory requirements with confidence. Started in 2018 by leading professors at the University of Oxford, Natcap recently announced a $10 million Series A fundraise, with investment from André Hoffmann, Norinchukin Capital, and others.
Peter Wrighton-Smith said:

Peter founded Oxford Immunotec, a global diagnostics company that specialises in producing tests for detecting Tuberculosis infection. He grew the company from start-up to a 500 strong team with $100m in revenues across US, Europe and Asia. He successfully led the company through 5 rounds of VC investment, a NASDAQ IPO in 2013 and the sale of the company for c$600m in 2021.
Peter brings first hand experience of ESG and reporting obligations from the Company perspective alongside fundraising experience with leading global investors.
