The Taskforce on‬‭ Nature-related Financial‬‭ Disclosures (TNFD)‬‭

Companies should understand and report on how they interact with nature, building off their climate work. Reporting only on climate is no longer enough.

Investors, regulators, and customers now expect companies to include nature in their environmental work. Companies should build off climate work because climate and nature assessments complement one another.

Companies that do so early will:

• Better understand their risks and opportunities.

   

• Protect their reputation with investors and customers.

   

• Be more prepared for future regulation.

   

• Strengthen their climate strategy.

The TNFD is the main initiative helping companies to do so.
