CHALLENGE

Nissin Foods Europe knows that nature underpins their business, but struggled to make the case for action. They needed a best-in-class assessment of their dependencies, impacts, risks and opportunities, in line with TNFD. Importantly, they needed a flexible and scalable solution that could be updated and dovetailed with ongoing climate risk assessments.

SOLUTION

Nissin Foods Europe partnered with Natcap to
conduct their first nature assessment and lay the foundations of their nature strategy. Our approach included:
  • Evaluating dependencies and impacts, including identifying sensitive locations.
  • Assessing risks and highlighting opportunities.
  • Prioritising material nature-related issues.
  • Aligning outputs with TNFD expectations.
  • Developing clear recommendations for thE Executive Leadership team to respond to issues.
